As an artist, I am inspired by shapes and forms that convey uniqueness and culture. During my travels, I have taken many photographs of art, buildings, sculpture, and landscapes. Using my pictures as a basis, I draw a pencil sketch and use acrylic paints on watercolor paper to portray my interpretation of the subject. I want people to enjoy the image. As a former educator, I want to inspire people to learn more about the subject and to plan to visit the location. My art is rough, but structured, and reveals my engineering and mathematics background.
